***Pay attention to the times in port, especially in Ketchikan!***

Many of the Princess ships arrive in Ketchikan around 6:00am and leave by 12:30.  AND...that does not mean midnight!  That means you only have six and a half hours in town. 

And while that doesn't sound half bad, many tours do not begin before 7:30 and many attractions and businesses do not open until 8:00, some even later than that!  If you want to both take a tour and do some shopping, you will have to plan your time carefully.

I can't tell you how many times I'm told by visitors that they are so bummed they weren't able to spend more time in our amazing city because the ship leaves so quickly.
